Ameri-pus - WIP

So, after Hetalia Day, I felt like making something Hetalia related. The only thing I felt like doing though was an octopus so the result is Ameri-pus! It's not just an octopus and not just vaguely similar to a certain hero, but both! Though it can't be fully seen, his tentacles are designed like the American flag. There are 3 blue/star tentacles, 3 red, and 2 white.

Right now the ahoge and facial features are only pinned down. I can't seem to find the thread that matches the eye fabric so until I get some more, I can't sew the eyes on and neither can I attach the glasses. As for the "nantucket", I didn't sew it in when I had the body open so I'm considering whether to just sew it on top or slice a hole in the head and tuck it in. :S If anyone has a suggestion for which I should do, that's cool.
